Book Review: Let it Snow by John Green

Happy Christmas Eve Everyone! The only Holiday read I got in this year was Let it Snow by John Green. I had every intention of reading a huge stack of Christmasy reads, but just didn’t get round to it – I’ll be saving them for next year!

Let it Snow by John Green

Genre: YA, Contemporary Romance, Romance

BUG Rating: 3/5

Overall: This one is actually an older book but recently gained re-hype with the Netflix movie adaptation. The book is split into 3 stories that all take place on Christmas Eve during a terrible blizzard in Gracetown! I got through this REALLY quickly, it was a fun holiday read … and if you’re looking for a Christmasy book to fit in before the holidays are over – you can DEFINITELY get through this one … Candles and hot chocolate optional – but recommended 😉

I always had this idea that you should never give up a happy middle in the hopes of a happy ending, because there is no such thing as a happy ending. Do you know what I mean? There is so much to lose.

It’s Christmas Eve and the worst blizzard for fifty years has blanketed Gracetown. But as well as snowflakes, love is in the air – and appearing in the most unexpected ways . . .

Who’d have thought a freezing hike from a stranded train would end with a delicious kiss from a charming stranger? Or that a trip to the Waffle House through four feet of snow could lead to romance with an old friend? Or that the path to true love begins with a painfully early morning shift at Starbucks?
